Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks an ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Dedicated Clouds (ADC). You will troubleshoot, monitor, and fix production issues, and implement automation to support government customers operating in air-gapped regions.

A Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance is required to begin and must be maintained. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, build scalable operations, and help evolve services for AWS’s largest cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or CSSLP required.
• 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2 years of design or architecture experience of systems.
• Experience programming with at least one language (see tools).
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues.
• Developing monitoring solutions.
• Performing software maintenance and configuration.
• Implementing fixes for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, Java, Python).
• Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
• Working alongside development on AWS projects.
• Updating/enhancing current software.
• Automation of support processes and documentation of systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
