Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC).

The role involves building scalable cloud solutions for air-gapped regions for government customers, with a focus on platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation. The position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting systems
• 7+ years of hands-on systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of modern languages (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, Ruby)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues
• Developing monitoring solutions
• Performing software maintenance and configuration
• Implementing fixes for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA, Python)
• Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges
• Working alongside development on AWS projects
• Updating/enhancing our current software
• Automation of support processes and documentation of our systems
