Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking an ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Dedicated Clouds. You will deploy AWS Systems Manager services to air-gapped regions and support government customers, operating at scale in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

This role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with polygraph. You will collaborate with development teams, design scalable operations, and contribute to secure, resilient cloud infrastructure

Qualifications

2+ years of professional software development experience.
Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
1+ years designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems."
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues.
Developing monitoring solutions.
Performing software maintenance and configuration.
Implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA, Python).
Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
Working alongside development on AWS projects.
Updating/enhancing our current software.
Automation of support processes and documentation of our systems.
