Job summary

Prolaio seeks a Sr. Director, Platform Engineering to shape and scale our cloud-native data and AI-enabled platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will own core tooling, observability, and access controls across clinical trials, research, and analytics, partnering with product and security teams.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, deliver secure, compliant platform capabilities, and drive governance and privacy by design across the platform lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Significant healthcare data platform experience is expected.
• Experience with HIPAA and regulated environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform engineering strategy and roadmap for secure, scalable cloud and data platform capabilities.
• Own platform access, data access, identity-aware controls, and secure provisioning.
• Drive data lifecycle management; ingestion, validation, publishing, retention, lineage, audit readiness.
• Partnership with Data/Engineering teams to strengthen architecture and APIs.
• Deliver reusable platform features and shared services for analytics, data science, and data services.
• Ensure privacy, security, and regulatory readiness by design across platform lifecycles.
• Lead AI-powered platform capabilities like intelligent monitoring and policy-aware access.
• Collaborate with Security, Quality, Clinical Operations, and Product teams.
