Qualifications

• 10+ years building backend and platform systems, with hands-on shipping of a multi-tenant SaaS platform or control plane on Kubernetes.
• Designed and evolved domain data models for complex operational systems with versioning and migration decisions.
• Delivered telemetry-scale retrieval performance using time-series and relational storage and optimized API latency.
• Built hands-on on a major public cloud with Kubernetes and Helm, balancing portability and managed services.
• Implemented identity, tenancy, and security by design in enterprise SaaS.
• Published an API or data-model spec used by other teams or external partners.
• Senior contributor with production-grade platform code.

Responsibilities

• Build the foundation of the new platform: control plane and tenancy, writing the first code with AI-assisted tooling.
• Design and own the unified data model and its evolution, publish it via public API and define platform architecture.
• Own retrieval and query performance at telemetry scale, set latency targets, ensure tenant isolation.
• Choose technology stack and platform standards, define cloud alignment and portability.
• Design how the platform integrates large language models and AI services for operational insights.
• Define data ingress contracts with Integrations and mentor early platform engineers.
• Provide technical direction to the initial platform team and set engineering patterns.
