Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking a hands-on Platform Architect to design the foundation of a new platform and write the initial code with AI-assisted tooling. You will own the data model, platform tenancy, and API surface, partnering with Product, Integrations, and Developer Platform to deliver a scalable, modern cloud platform for high-density and AI workloads.

You will lead the design of the control plane, data stores, and namespace isolation while guiding a team of engineers.

Qualifications

10+ years building back-end and platform systems, incl. multi-tenant SaaS or control plane on Kubernetes.
Designed domain data models for complex operational systems and evolution across releases.
Experience delivering retrieval and analytical workloads at scale.

Responsibilities

Design and own unified data model and its evolution; publish API spec for external use.
Own retrieval and query performance at telemetry scale for live consoles and analytics.
Choose technology stack and platform standards; define cloud portability strategy.
Design integration of large language models and AI services for operational intelligence.
Define contract for site data entry and governance with Integrations.
Provide technical direction and precedent for the engineering team.
