Job summary

AV Services Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III - Platform Application Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable platform solutions.

You will containerize applications, work across AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and backend services, and drive automation and observability to production readiness. You will partner with vendors to deploy in the client cloud, define deployment models, and implement robust security and operational patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, IT or related field.
• 5–8+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps or SRE roles.
• Strong AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, networking and cloud security foundations.
• Proven experience operating enterprise-scale AWS environments and production support.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with the StreamText vendor and validate data flows.
• Migrate StreamText service into the client’s AWS environment.
• Use Terraform to create/configure AWS infra and networking.
• Integrate vendor software into the client’s AWS account per standards.
• Review container images, Kubernetes manifests, and deployment artifacts for security/compliance.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for controlled deployments.
• Ensure encryption, access controls, logging, retention and vendor access.
• Create runbooks and operational readiness documentation.
