Vultr seeks a Platform Engineer to harden and scale its global cloud platform. The role emphasizes a security-minded approach with deep Kubernetes expertise, container runtimes, and infrastructure automation across a high-growth tech environment.

You will architect CI/CD improvements, work with container runtimes, and contribute to open-source tooling while enhancing reliability and observability of cloud-native services.

Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and container runtimes.
• Strong automation and infrastructure-as-code background.
• Security-minded engineering approach across full-stack platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade automation using IaC and Go-based tooling.
• Develop and improve core services behind VKE, VLB, and Container Registry.
• Engage deeply with Kubernetes internals and design CI/CD pipelines for large-scale systems.
• Harden platform infrastructure with vulnerability scanning and secret management.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and infra teams on feature delivery.
