Job summary

FreedomPay seeks a Platform Operations Engineer to advance automation and AI-driven tooling across the Commerce Platform. You will partner with Platform Operations Analysts, engineering, and infrastructure teams to detect issues faster, improve monitoring, and scale operations as FreedomPay grows.

You will own root-cause analysis, document SOPs, and stay current with Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, and AI-assisted tooling to reduce downtime and improve platform stability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on technical experience in highly available, high-throughput environments.
• Experience with monitoring, performance optimization, and incident management.
• Strong communication and ownership with the ability to drive issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Identify monitoring and performance optimization opportunities and implement improvements.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for platform incidents and develop proactive strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues related to platform and services.
