Job summary

FreedomPay is seeking an experienced technologist in Philadelphia to maintain live services and support a 24/7 platform. You will collaborate across teams, diagnose issues, and contribute to knowledge bases while advancing reliability and performance.

This role emphasizes problem solving in a fast-paced fintech environment. The ideal candidate has a background in transaction processing, API integration, and monitoring with tools like Dynatrace and Splunk, plus a strong focus on risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years in a similar role within financial services tech, transaction processing, or related area.
• Experience with real-time transaction processing applications and web-based platforms.
• Familiarity with API integration, data analysis, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain live services through monitoring availability, latency, and health.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 platform availability.
• Identify root causes of issues and communicate with third parties and internal teams.
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and related documentation.
• Improve reliability with collaboration across infra and development teams.
• Create alerts and troubleshoot failed scheduled jobs.
• Adopt AI tools and emerging tech to boost efficiency and impact.
