Job summary

FreedomPay is seeking an Associate Site Reliability Engineer to help maintain the availability, performance, and reliability of its global payment platform. This full-time salaried role targets early-career engineers passionate about automation, AI in operations, and observability across cloud environments.

You will work with SRE, Infrastructure, and Software engineers to monitor health, automate tasks, and help build intelligent workflows with AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 1-3 years in software engineering, cloud operations, or DevOps.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, scripting, or cloud tech.
• Familiarity with observability platforms and modern tooling.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and containerized apps.

Responsibilities

• Learn FreedomPay's platform and application ecosystem.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed observability.
• Implement AI tools to speed troubleshooting and automation development.
• Improve monitoring through alert tuning and dashboards.
• Build and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual work.
• Investigate alerts, identify root causes, and remediate with senior engineers.
