Dave & Buster's Management Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Platform Administrator, Salesforce to join our IT team.

You will operate, maintain, and optimize Salesforce apps including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and CPQ to enable Sales and Operations teams and drive customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with internal partners, implement declarative solutions, automate processes, and ensure data security across a large corporate Salesforce environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Salesforce Administrator and/or Engineer experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ.
• Experience with automation tools like Process Builder and Flow.
• Strong knowledge of Web services, SQL and SOQL for data manipulation and integration.
• Familiar with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) and Salesforce development environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level Salesforce administration for a large corporate environment with multiple sandboxes and communities.
• Configure and declaratively develop to meet business needs via workflows and custom objects.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and implement changes.
• Design and maintain automation processes to improve platform efficiency.
• Manage security: profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
• Document configuration and administration procedures.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices.

Job Description: Dave & Buster's is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Platform Administrator, Salesforce to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be a member of the team responsible for the operation, maintenance, administration, optimization, and evolution of our Salesforce platform and apps including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and CPQ. This role is crucial for enabling and supporting our Sales and Operations departments, and directly impacts our customer satisfaction and business success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advanced Salesforce Administration: Provide high-level administration services within a team for a large corporate Salesforce environment, including management of multiple sandboxes and communities.


• System Configuration & Development: Perform configuration and declarative development as required, adapting Salesforce to meet business needs through workflow, approval processes, and custom object implementation.


• Requirements Gathering & Implementation: Collaborate with internal business partners to gather requirements and implement configuration changes, ensuring the system aligns with business processes.


• Automation & Optimization: Design, implement, and maintain automation processes within Salesforce, reducing manual intervention and improving platform efficiency.


• Process Automation Tools: Develop and manage automated workflows, approval processes, and notifications using Salesforce Process Builder, Flow, and other declarative automation tools.


• Security & Access Management: Design, configure, and troubleshoot profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules to maintain data security and user access controls.


• Documentation: Document all system configuration and administration processes, creating a reference for best practices and procedures.


• Platform Updates & Best Practices: Stay informed on Salesforce platform releases, features, changes, and best practices to leverage new functionalities and maintain system efficiency.


• AppExchange Solutions: Assist with the selection and implementation of Salesforce AppExchange solutions, enhancing platform capabilities as needed.


• Testing Support: Provide support for various testing needs, ensuring system integrity and performance through rigorous validation.


• Tier 2/3 Support: Offer advanced tier 2/3 support for the IT team and business customer users, resolving complex issues efficiently.


• System Monitoring: Oversee system performance, availability, and backup processes, ensuring optimal operation and data integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Engineer, with a deep understanding of Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ.


• Experience with Salesforce automation tools like Process Builder, Flow, and third-party automation platforms to streamline business processes.


• Solid experience with Web services, SQL, and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), enabling advanced data manipulation and integration capabilities.


• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and Salesforce development environments to implement custom automation solutions.


• Demonstrated experience using the Salesforce Developer Console for troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing platform functionality.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide efficient support and troubleshooting.


• Strong knowledge of Salesforce system configuration, custom objects, and fields creation.


• Experience with Salesforce integrations and API.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users.


• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
