Avtec Finishing is seeking a Plater / Line Operator on 1st shift in New Hope, MN. Starting pay is $26.00/hour with DOQ and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Schedule is Mon-Thu, 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m. OT available, with overtime on Friday.

Earn potential includes overtime, attendance rewards, and profit sharing. No plating experience is required; training is provided to the right candidate who shows up reliably and follows procedures.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows written work instructions and SOPs.
• Learns plating processes and procedures.
• Uses basic math and measurement skills.
• Maintains high-quality workmanship and follows safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a metal-finishing production line.
• Read work orders and SOPs; ensure parts meet requirements.
• Monitor tanks, equipment, temperatures, and chemistry.
• Make routine adjustments per established procedures.
• Inspect parts for quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and accurate paperwork.
• Collaborate with leads, quality, and production management.
