Job summary

Avtec Finishing in New Hope, MN, is hiring for a Production Racker on 1st shift (5:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Thursday with overtime). No metal-finishing experience required; we’ll train you. Starting wage is $22.00/hour ($45,760/year).

Eligible new hires can boost earnings with overtime, attendance rewards, profit sharing, and a $1,500 signing bonus, with potential annual earnings up to $70,320. As a Production Racker, you’ll rack parts before plating, read and follow work instructions, maintain

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Rack and unrack metal parts before and after plating.
• Read and follow job paperwork and written work instructions.
• Select and use proper racks and tooling for each job.
• Handle customer parts carefully to prevent damage.
• Inspect parts for obvious defects or concerns.
• Maintain an efficient production pace while protecting quality.
• Keep parts organized and properly identified throughout the process.
• Follow established safety, quality and production procedures.
• Work with your team to keep production moving.
• Perform other related production duties as assigned.
