Job summary

Staffmark Group in Alexandria, MN is seeking a Plater Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role pays $17.50 per hour plus a 15% shift differential, with a typical evening schedule and steady hours.

You will support line operators, rinse and dry plated parts, inspect finished items, and follow safety procedures while maintaining quality and cleanliness. This is a hands-on role in a plating environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or plating environment is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
• Mentally alert and physically capable of lifting and performing repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support line operators with plating operations and post-plating processes
• Properly rinse and dry products after plating to ensure quality
• Inspect and package finished parts following company procedures
• Learn and apply racking techniques to maximize efficiency and part quality
• Maintain job segregation and part integrity throughout the process
• Keep work areas clean and hazard-free, following all safety procedures
• Use PPE and safety devices appropriately
