Nico Products in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Plater/Line Operator for a 1st shift position (Mon–Thu 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m., OT on Fridays). Starting pay is $26.00/hour with DOQ and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Overtime opportunities can significantly boost earnings.

This hands-on production role involves operating a metal-finishing line, following work orders, and ensuring parts are processed safely, on time, and to spec. No plating experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• No plating experience required; training provided.
• Must read, understand, and follow written work instructions and SOPs.
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate an assigned metal-finishing production line.
• Read and follow work orders, process sheets, and SOPs.
• Verify parts meet customer and quality requirements.
• Monitor tanks, timing, temperatures and chemistry.
• Make routine adjustments within established procedures.
• Identify and address anything that looks incorrect.
• Perform basic measurements related to the plating process.
• Inspect parts for quality throughout the process.
• Keep production moving while maintaining safety standards.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Collaborate with Rackers, Leads, Quality and Production Management.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Help the crew meet daily production requirements.
