Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, CARB, DTSC, and related regulations.
• Ability to lead change and build a safety culture through coaching and accountability.
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Experience in managing multiple EHS initiatives, audits, permits, and deadlines.
• Ability to analyze safety data and translate insights into actions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience partnering with contractors and leading safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for implementation and continuous improvement of EHS policies and processes.
• Develop and manage EHS programs to keep employees injury-free and aware of safety responsibilities.
• Identify hazards in plastics manufacturing processes and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/Cal/OSHA, EPA, CARB, and other regulations.
• Implement industrial hygiene programs including noise, respiratory protection, and exposure assessments.
• Interface with regulatory agencies on EHS matters.
• Communicate EHS progress and performance metrics across the site.
• Lead cross-functional safety committees and contractor safety programs.
• Perform job hazard analyses, risk assessments, and process safety reviews.
• Administer EHS metrics reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
