Job summary

Sabert Corporation in Riverside, CA seeks a seasoned EHS leader to oversee site environmental, health, and safety programs. You will develop and sustain EHS systems, train staff, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

You will ensure compliance with EPA, Cal/OSHA, CARB and DTSC regulations, lead incident investigations, and partner with site leadership to reduce risk and improve metrics. A BS in Safety or related field is preferred and CSP/CIH certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Safety or Environmental Science or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CIH preferred.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EPA and Cal/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and enforcement of EHS policies and processes.
• Develop and manage EHS programs to keep injuries low and raise awareness.
• Identify hazards in plastics manufacturing processes and drive controls.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, Cal/OSHA, CARB, DTSC and related regs.
• Interface with regulatory agencies on EHS matters.
• Communicate EHS progress, metrics, and issues to leadership.
• Lead cross-functional safety committees and employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct thorough investigations and implement corrective actions.
