Job summary

Sabre Industries in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced EH&S Manager to lead safety, health, medical, and environmental programs. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, coordinate with government agencies, and drive risk reduction across the facility.

The role requires a BS/MS in Safety/Industrial Hygiene/Environmental Engineering, 8+ years of experience, strong training and leadership abilities, and a proven track record in managing complex safety projects.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Engineering.
• Certified Safety Professional preferred.
• Minimum 8 years occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental experience, preferably in steel manufacturing.
• Strong background in training employees, supervision and management in all areas of EH&S.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws; familiarity with NFPA, ANSI, OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety, health, medical, Workers’ Compensation and environmental programs.
• Comply with federal, state, local safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement JSA’s and training programs in the use of safety equipment and practices.
• Manage MSDS program for materials used and processed at the facility.
• Maintain the OSHA 300 log and oversee accident elimination initiatives.
• Create emergency evacuation plans and participate in audits.
• Oversee contractor safety and training compliance.
• Support management in compliance with environmental regulations.
