Ascend Aesthetic Partners is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator in Fayetteville, GA. You will be the primary contact for patients, managing scheduling, consultations, surgeries, and post-operative care while coordinating with surgeons and staff to deliver a smooth patient journey.

Responsibilities include explaining costs, verifying insurance, and handling financial transactions, as well as maintaining EMR records and providing compassionate, professional support throughout treatment

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient care coordination or medical office roles.
• Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or aesthetic medicine is preferred.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, billing and financial transactions is preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR and practice management software.
• Certification in medical assisting or related field is a plus.

Mansioni

• Act as the main point of contact for patients, scheduling consultations, surgeries and follow-ups.
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons and staff and ensure pre-surgical instructions are followed.
• Explain financial policies, verify insurance, provide billing estimates and manage payments.
• Provide post-op instructions and schedule follow-ups to ensure patient comfort.
• Educate patients about procedures, recovery, and outcomes; liaise between patients and surgical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system with secure, up-to-date information.
• Collaborate with medical, surgical, and administrative teams to enhance patient experience.

Formazione

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
