Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Plastic Surgery Specialty Practice in Massachusetts. You would prepare patients for office visits, escort to treatment rooms, and document information in patients’ charts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months of related work experience.
• Knowledge of medical assisting with an Associate’s Degree is preferred; National Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for office visits and escort to treatment room.
• Obtain pertinent patient information for medical records and document in chart.
• Process patient telephone calls and correspondence for the practice.
• Organize and prioritize duties to promote efficient care and patient outcomes.
• Scribes information and assists physician during visits.

Skills

Six months of related work experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance

National Certification as Medical Assistant (preferred)
