Job summary

VCU Health in Richmond, VA is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) to join the Plastic Surgery Clinic on a part-time basis. You will deliver direct patient care under physician supervision, participate in pre- and post-operative care, and assist in surgical procedures as needed.

The role requires PA-C certification, an accredited PA program graduate, and current CPR/BLS (ACLS as required). Flexible scheduling may apply to evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• PA-C certification required and current state licensure.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications; ACLS where needed.
• Three years of clinical experience with the target population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under physician supervision and perform histories and physicals.
• Assist with surgical procedures and coordinate patient care across the continuum.
• Document all pertinent information in the medical record and communicate with the team.
• Supervise and/or coordinate activities of other staff as needed.
