Job summary

Vanguard Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is seeking a skilled Certified Physician Assistant with at least three years of experience, preferably in plastic or reconstructive surgery, to join its dynamic surgical team.

This role supports surgeons in the operating room, provides comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, and contributes to excellent patient outcomes within a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Physician Assistant with active licensure in Florida.
• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited PA program.
• Minimum of three years of clinical PA experience, preferably in plastic or reconstructive surgery.
• Experience with loupes on microsurgical cases is a strong plus.
• Proficient in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under supervision of licensed surgeon.
• Conduct preoperative and postoperative assessments and follow-up care.
• Perform selected surgical procedures and assist with invasive techniques.
• Evaluate and manage patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, assessments and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in patient education and counseling for informed decisions.
• Stay updated on advancements in plastic surgery techniques.
