Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Federal Way is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA) to join a busy plastic surgery practice under a Plastic Surgeon. The role focuses on high-quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care for pre/post operative patients in breast, body and face procedures, including gender-affirming top surgery and complex reconstructions.

Schedule typically Monday-Friday with 4–10 hour shifts and potential evening extra hours.

Qualifications

• Must have ARNP or Physician Assistant licensure and board certification.
• Surgical experience as an APP is preferred.
• Washington State license in good standing and prescriptive authority (DEA/NPI) are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and document medical histories under surgeon supervision.
• Assist with surgeries and inpatient rounding.
• Consult with physicians to assess patient condition and treatment.
• Ensure medical charts and related administrative duties are completed promptly.
• Provide same-day care for acute illnesses or minor injuries.
