Octapharma Plasma in Lexington, KY is hiring to perform the plasmapheresis process, including venipunctures, while ensuring donor safety and adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements. You will set up equipment, monitor donors, document procedures, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completed documentation of training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsabilités

• Execute plasmapheresis process and venipunctures.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and SOPs.
• Deliver high-quality donor service and maintain donor confidentiality.
• Set up and prepare equipment and supplies for venipcture and plasmapheresis; label units.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, troubleshoot alarms, manage adverse donor events, and document exceptions.
• Maintain records including machine logs and inventory; ensure clean and safe work areas.
