Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is hiring for a role focused on executing plasmapheresis procedures, including venipuncture, to collect plasma while maintaining safety and quality.

You will ensure compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP, deliver excellent donor service, maintain equipment, document machine logs, and collaborate with QA to drive continuous improvement. Day and evening shifts with some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 3 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completed documentation of training appropriate for duties, prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and plasmapheresis procedures with accuracy and safety.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) and maintain production standards.
• Maintain donor experience and provide excellent customer service; protect donor confidentiality.
• Set up equipment and dispose of biohazard waste per safety protocols; label units accurately.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, troubleshoot, and document any exceptions.
• Calibrate/maintain machines daily, weekly, monthly and replace equipment as needed.
• Document machine logs and donor records; mentor teammates as a Designated Trainer.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance on donor floor performance and CAPA implementations.
