Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasmapheresis technician to execute venipuncture procedures and manage donor processing in a compliant, fast-paced center. You will set up equipment, maintain accurate records, supervise training, and ensure high donor safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include operating plasmapheresis machines, monitoring donor conditions, and coordinating with QA for continuous improvement while complying with regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal protocol.
• Basic computer knowledge and documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and plasmapheresis procedures.
• Set up and prepare equipment and supplies; label units accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and inventory.
• Monitor donor conditions and ensure donor confidentiality and safety.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, and document exceptions.
• Maintain machine logs and perform calibrations/maintenance as required.
• Train team members as a designated trainer and drive training efficiencies.
• Collaborate with QA on donor floor performance and CAPA implementations.
