Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is hiring a plasma collection technician to perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis while ensuring strict regulatory compliance and donor safety. You will manage equipment setup, sample labeling, and thorough documentation in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate documentation, and adherence to SOPs, SOP training, and safety protocols to deliver high-quality plasma products.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Three months of medical/healthcare experience preferred.
• Documentation of training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and GMP standards and SOPs.
• Maintain donor experience and customer service aligned with company values.
• Stock supplies and maintain a clean work environment.
• Verify donor identity and maintain confidentiality per SOPs.
• Set up equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis and label samples.
• Perform venipunctures and plasma collection with high quality and safety.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and events.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma product quality.
• Document machine logs and report unsafe situations to management.
• Drive training efficiencies and perform routine QC on equipment.
