Job summary

CSL Vifor in Cincinnati is seeking a Plasma Center Technician to handle sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will follow SOPs, maintain product quality, and report to the Assistant Center Manager.

The role requires basic math, sterile technique, and careful record keeping in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills may be required; overtime is possible, and compensation is hourly between $16.61 and $18.13.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to maintain quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and manage labeling accuracy.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to ensure sterility of samples.
• Prepare shipping and disposal documentation for plasma units.
• Monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures and report variances.
• Record donor data in the electronic information system per SOPs.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and maintain a clean work area.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and assist with center needs.
