Job summary

You will follow SOPs, maintain proper labeling, use sterile techniques, monitor temperatures, and document donor information in the electronic system. The role may include cross-training and bilingual requirements. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are stored per SOPs; handle unsuitable units as needed.
• Verify unit labeling accuracy against dynamic labels.
• Use sterile techniques and heat sealer to ensure sterility of samples per SOPs.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as required.
• Monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures and record variances.
• Calibrate equipment daily as per SOPs.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organizational discretion.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
