Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a dedicated technician to accurately sample, test, and ship plasma donated from donors. You will store units per SOPs and ensure correct labeling, using sterile techniques to preserve quality and safety.

Responsibilities include monitoring temperatures, documenting equipment performance, and adhering to HSE and OSHA policies while maintaining donor confidentiality. Safety and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in a laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to maintain product quality.
• Ensure storage of plasma units according to SOPs and identify unsuitable units.
• Verify accuracy of unit labeling by matching pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Utilize sterile techniques and heat sealing to preserve sterility and quality of samples.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report any equipment issues.
