Job summary

CSL Plasma in Las Cruces is seeking a Plasma Sampling Technician to accurately collect plasma samples and move units to freezer per SOPs. You will ensure proper storage, labeling accuracy, and sterile technique during sampling, using heat sealers to maintain sterility.

Responsibilities include shipping documentation, monitoring temperatures, recording donor data in the management system, and adhering to HSE/OSHA policies. Cross-training and overtime support may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move units to freezer per SOPs.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and ensure proper labeling accuracy.
• Maintain sterile technique during sampling and use heat sealer as needed.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation.
• Monitor temperatures and report equipment malfunctions.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and maintain a clean work environment.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and support overtime needs.
