Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Operations Associate in Ohio to perform sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will ensure accurate labeling, sterile technique and proper cold-chain handling in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and willingness to work overtime as center needs dictate. A high school diploma and basic math skills are expected, with possible bilingual requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic math calculations required.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organization discretion.
• Ability to understand, remember and apply instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples following SOPs and move plasma units to freezer.
• Ensure proper storage of plasma units per SOPs and handle unsuitable units.
• Verify that unit labeling matches pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and ensure sterility with heat sealer.
• Pack and ship samples and units per SOPs; prepare shipping and disposal docs.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temps; report equipment issues.
• Conduct daily calibration of equipment as required by SOPs.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; overtime may be required.
