Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer per SOPs.
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored and labeled.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and maintain sterility of units.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report variances.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Occasionally cross-train in other areas as needed.
