Job summary

CSL Edison, NJ is seeking a qualified medical professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis, administer approved immunizations, and provide limited emergency care to donors and staff. You will work with the Center Medical Director to answer health questions and ensure SOP compliance.

Responsibilities include interviewing donors, reviewing health data, counseling on reactive results, and maintaining accurate electronic records.

Qualifications

  • Active state licensure in paramedicine, nursing, PA, chiropractic or medical school.
  • Foreign medical degree holders must also hold an active physician license or EMT certification.
  • Minimum 1 year healthcare experience; plasma center preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis.
  • Administer vaccinations and provide limited emergency care.
  • Promote positive donor relations.
  • Conduct confidential donor interviews on suitability.
  • Respond to medically related donor questions with physician input.
  • Document donor data in the electronic system.
  • Maintain safety and SOP compliance.
  • May cross-train other areas.
  • Bilingual skills may be required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Explain informed consent to donors.
  • Notify and counsel about reactive test results.
  • Supervise immunization programs.
