Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Pheresis Technician to collect plasma from donors using venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process in accordance with SOPs. You will ensure donor safety, document donor data, and respond to any adverse events.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to FDA guidelines, and strong communication to educate donors and maintain a positive donation experience. High school diploma required; prior healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical/health care environment preferred.
• For Centers located in CA, requires state phlebotomy certification or RN, per local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection per SOPs.
• Conduct venipuncture to start pheresis and monitor donor throughout process.
• Monitor donors for reactions and respond as needed.
• Record donor data in electronic donor information management system.
