Job summary

Takeda's BioLife Plasma Services Center in Indianapolis seeks a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomist to support center operations. You will greet donors, perform vital signs, record results, and coordinate donor charts and compensation.

This role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical lifting and glove use due to bloodborne pathogens are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and staff safety.
• Screen donors, record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements using approved procedures.
• Work various shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
