Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an entry level Phlebotomist - Medical Screener in Indianapolis, IN. You will greet donors, screen them, and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Some prior customer-facing experience is helpful for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to walk/stand for the shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Lift up to 5 lbs, and occasional loads up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• 1+ years experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement approved changes.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
