Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Indianapolis is seeking an entry-level Phlebotomist - Medical Screener to screen donors and perform phlebotomy in a fast-paced plasma center.

You will greet donors, record vital signs, and maintain donor charts while following safety protocols. The role requires standing for long periods, working evenings and weekends, and providing compassionate customer service in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand/walk for the shift and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and prepare donor charts; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes per procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
