Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in New York is seeking a donor screener and phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and interact with donors, performing screenings and contributing to safe, efficient processes.

The role requires a high school diploma, physical stamina, weekend and holiday availability, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training includes use of the Donor Information System and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in customer-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
