Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a part-time donor screener/phlebotomy support at our Joliet center. You will greet donors, screen and record vital signs, and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. This role emphasizes safety, donor care, and accurate charting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• 1+ years in a customer-facing role (helpful).
• Must follow bloodborne pathogen safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen donors and perform phlebotomy.
• Answer phones and greet donors with focus on safety and service.
• Record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System and maintain donor charts and compensation records.
• Identify improvement opportunities and initiate approved process changes.
