Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist. You will greet donors, record vital signs, screen donors, and contribute to center operations while ensuring safety and accuracy.

The role requires willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays, with shifts including Sundays and Saturdays. Previous customer-facing experience is helpful for delivering high-quality donor care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• 1+ years experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and take/record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
