Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Plasma Donor Screener with phlebotomy responsibilities in Minnesota. You will interact with donors daily, screen new and returning donors, record vital signs, and support center operations while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a donor screener and phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (32 lbs typical).
• Experience in customer or patient facing roles is helpful.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens with glove use during tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors, record donor vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate changes per procedures.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
