Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a medical or health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedures including donor setup, monitoring, and disconnect.
• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis per SOPs.
• Evaluate vein performance and expedite donation while ensuring donor safety.
• Educate donors on donor processes, screening, appointment system, and policies.
• Monitor for donor reactions and respond or notify staff.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean work environment and ensure supplies; follow HSE and OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
