Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Donor Center Technician I to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and to administer approved immunizations per state regulations and SOPs.

The role includes limited emergency care, training, and serving as a QA Backup. You will collaborate across operational areas, ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines, and mentor new Medical Professionals as a designated trainer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program.
• Certified/licensed as EMT if allowed by state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility via medical history, physicals, and informed consent per SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review and document donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions with appropriate care.
• Consult center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and maintain confidentiality; refer to health departments when needed.
