Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Technician I to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administer immunizations per SOPs, and provide limited emergency care as licensed.

The role requires understanding of cGMP, FDA, CLIA, and regulatory guidelines, with training and mentorship opportunities. The position involves documentation, collaboration with physicians, and ongoing training to support workforce development while ensuring a compliant, donor-focused plasma

Formación

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program and licensed as Physician, RN, LPN, or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• State license/certification to perform relevant testing as allowed by state.
• 1+ year hospital, field care, or plasma center experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews and consent discussions.
• Review and document donor information, immunization records, and test results.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Consult with center Physician regarding abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as logs and eligibility assessments.
• Support QA as a Donor Center Technician I and as a trainer.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as designated trainer.
• Ensure center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to maintain donor-focused environment.
