Job summary

CSL is seeking a healthcare professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures and to provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff. The role includes interviewing donors and reviewing medical histories to determine eligibility for plasma donation, in collaboration with the Center Medical Director.

The position requires licensure or certification to administer medications and to respond to medically related questions, with additional duties such as

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in a health care environment.
• Ability to interview donors and perform medical history reviews for donor suitability.
• Provide limited emergency medical care and administer medications per licensure or certification.
• Ability to assess physical findings (heart/lung sounds, signs of drug use) during donor evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures under general supervision.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews to determine donation eligibility.
• Provide routine donor care and escalate critical medical situations to supervising physician.
• Notify and counsel donors regarding test results and refer for follow-up as needed.
• Respond to medically related questions and provide information on donor suitability in collaboration with Center Medical Director.
