Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a healthcare professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures and provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff, including administering treatments as permitted by licensure.

Responsibilities include interviewing donors, reviewing medical histories to determine eligibility, and escalating complex cases to the Center Medical Director. This role requires licensure and at least one year in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Graduate of paramedic, nursing, PA, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic program.
• If foreign medical school, licensed physician or EMT certification may be required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience; prior plasma center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis under supervision.
• Provide limited emergency medical care per licensure; administer treatments as allowed.
• Interview donors and review medical history to determine eligibility.
• Collaborate with the Center Medical Director on donor suitability questions.
• Review test results and assess ongoing donor eligibility.
• Counsel donors on reactive test results and refer for follow-up.
• Provide routine care following SOPs; escalate critical cases to physicians.
