Qualifications

• Active state licensure in a paramedic, nursing, PA, chiropractic, naturopathic program or medical school.
• Foreign medical school graduate must be licensed or EMT certified in the state.
• At least one year of healthcare experience or clinical training from vocational or nursing program.
• Experience in plasma or regulated centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Administer approved immunizations and provide emergency care per licensure.
• Promote positive donor relations and conduct donor interviews.
• Explain informed consent and donor immunization schedules.
• Maintain donor data in electronic information management system.
• Ensure SOP, HSE, OSHA compliance and safety procedures.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
