The role emphasizes donor safety, accurate recordkeeping, and quality control. The position requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and industry regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high levels of customer service, donor confidentiality, and donor experience.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments (vitals, protein testing, etc.).
• Set up, prepare, and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms and disconnect donors after procedure completion.
• Perform plasma collection and processing, including sterile products and sample handling, and shipments preparation.
• Monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures and document variances.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of donor center and work areas.
• Maintain equipment quality control and records per SOPs.
• Provide oversight of product safety and quality and donor safety.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine quality checks.
